Gun Ownership

"A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Second Amendment

U.S. Constitution

"No free man shall be debarred the use of arms within his own land."
Thomas Jefferson

"To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them."
George Mason

"As long as there are guns, the individual who wants a gun for a crime is going to get one.  The only person penalized by gun control is the law abiding citizen who then cannot have one."
Ronald Reagan

GUN OWNERSHIP –
A GOD-GIVEN RIGHT!

"No free man shall be debarred (denied) the use of arms within his own land."

Thomas Jefferson

The Constitution of the United States does not give you and I the right to own a gun. It acknowledges that we already have that right. Gun ownership – like eating and breathing – is a God-given right.

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Second Amendment, United States Constitution

It is the God-given right of the people to keep and bear arms, and that right shall not be infringed upon by the government.

The right of the people. Our nation was founded upon those five words – the right of the people to form a new government – the right of the people to free speech – the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Real freedom is all about the rights of the people. When the people have rights, they have the opportunity to be free from government oppression. When it is the government that has all the rights, it is impossible for the people to know anything but oppression.

The Bill of Rights was crafted to preserve, protect, and defend the freedom of the people. We the people do not have to get down on our knees and beg our government for the right to own a gun. Gun ownership is a God-given right that is protected by our Constitution. Our life and liberty comes from God, not government.

Gun ownership is a God-given right because self-defense is a God-given right.

Gun ownership is a God-given right because defending ourselves against a tyrannical government is a God-given right.

Gun ownership is a God-given right because life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is a God-given right.

It Is More Then Guns, It Is Freedom!

Fear The Government That Fears Your Gun!

"Always love your country, but never trust your government."
– Bob Novak

TEN GOOD REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD OWN A GUN

  1. Gun ownership is a good idea because violent crime is out of control.  One recent survey revealed that a violent crime occurs somewhere in the U.S.A. every 23.1 seconds.

  2. Gun ownership is a criminals' worse nightmare. Criminals prefer unarmed victims.  Guns are used thousands of times every day by law abiding citizens for personal protection – usually without a single shot being fired.

  3. Gun ownership is your lifeline when the police can't help you. The average nationwide response time for the police to arrive at your front door, if somebody is kicking it in, is over seven minutes! (That assumes you actually have time to call them).

  4. Gun ownership is good personal protection at all times.  Home alarms and dogs can't help you when you are away from home, but a gun can! You should possess a concealed-carry permit. Concealed-carry does what gun control laws don't do; it protects people and reduces crime.

  5. Gun ownership is your best line of defense because the criminal justice system can't protect you. You can't depend on the courts to keep criminals off our streets.  But, you can depend on them to put criminals back on the street.

  6. Gun ownership – because you have the responsibility to protect your family.  It is far better to own a gun and to never need it, than to not have one if you ever do need it.

  7. Gun ownership is a good idea because the fluff and bluff gun control laws don't work.  Criminals don't obey gun control laws! For personal protection, the liberals prefer gun control over gun ownership. But the liberals are dreamers. Dreams are good but reality is better!

  8. Gun ownership is smart. As long as violent criminals have guns, law abiding people should have guns, People who do not have a gun for personal protection are betting that no  one that they encounter in life will have the desire or opportunity to harm them. They are putting their faith and trust in lots of people -- many bad people.

  9. Gun ownership in the hands of responsible people can produce great fun and excitement. Owning a gun -- like driving a car -- is a good thing, when it is handled with intelligence and caution.

  10. Gun ownership – because the Second Amendment protects all the others.  It protects all our rights and freedoms. My gun protects your freedom and your gun protects my freedom. The guns of the people restrain the power of the government. Fear the government that fears your gun.  It's more than guns – it's freedom!

CARJACKED IN CALIFORNIA

Location: Grossmont Shopping Center, La Mesa, CA
Date: December 23, 1996
Time: 8:50 p.m.
Event: I was carjacked!!

I could have been killed. Killing people is a very simple and easy thing in California because that state does not believe in self-defense.
They believe in fighting crime with gun control laws. California has hundreds of gun control laws. But they don't prevent crime, because the criminals do not obey them.
These fluff and bluff laws encourage and reward criminal activity, but penalize and endanger law-abiding citizens. They make criminals more aggressive and law-abiding
citizens less safe. Criminals love gun control laws, because criminals prefer unarmed victims!

The carjacking was a typical California crime; the criminal had a gun but I had nothing. I was a sitting duck. I had no protection.
I had nothing going for me. I was totally at the mercy of the carjacker.

The State of California allows the privileged elite – such as politicians and friends of politicians – to carry a gun for self-protection.
Most individuals are consistently denied their God-given right to protect and defend themselves. This is perverted justice on a grand scale.
It is not what our freedom-fighting, founding fathers had in mind. The Second Amendment to our Constitution is an acknowledgement of our
absolute right to own and carry guns.

"…the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

California is the great state of infringement! But now I live in Nevada. Now I have a concealed-carry permit. Now I feel safe!

It is more than guns, it is survival!
It is more than guns, it is freedom!

TEN REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT

1. It's about obeying the law. If you are going to carry a gun, you should do it legally. A concealed carry permit gives you the legal right to carry a gun in your state.

2. It's about being prepared. Even if you have no desire to carry a gun right now, that can change someday. If it does, it may take you sixty days or longer to obtain your concealed carry permit.

3. It's about having instant access to your gun. Where you go, it goes! Years ago someone I know went through the ordeal of watching a group of thugs sexually assault his wife right in his home. His gun did him no good because it was located at the other end of his home.

4. It's about personal protection when you are away from your home. While you are at home your big guard dog may be your best friend and protector. But when you are away from your home, your gun may be your best friend and protector.

5. It's about sending a message to the criminal element that you are deadly serious about protecting yourself and your family. Nobody ever needs to know you have a concealed carry permit, and that you are in possession of a gun at all time. But if you should desire to share that information with certain unscrupulous individuals, it could save your life.

6. It's about refusing to be a victim of crime. It is up to you to take responsibility for your safety. The criminal justice system has demonstrated a total inability to protect society from the criminal element, and criminals just laugh at gun control laws.

7. It's about your ability to protect yourself. Your constitutional right to keep and bear arms does you no good without your ability to kept and bear arms.

8. It's about providing your family and yourself with a sense of security. Most people never have to use a gun for self-defense. It's just a good feeling to know that it's there if you need it.

9. It's about your ability to go to someone's aid. Three times in my life I have gone to the aid of a police officer who was struggling with a combative person. On all three occasions I was unarmed. If that ever happens again, I will be better prepared, and at less risk, because I will be armed.

10. It's about your ability to identify yourself as a law abiding citizen. Your concealed carry permit tells law enforcement you are on the right side of the law. You probably can't talk your way out of a traffic ticket, but when an officer sees your concealed carry permit, he or she will become less likely to write you one.
