"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing…as the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love."
Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
I come to you today, not seeking things, but seeking you. You are the rewarder of those who diligently seek you. Not power, not honor, not ministry, but You! (Hebrews 11:6)
You are my shepherd, my liberator and my healer. In you I live and move and have my being. (Acts 17:28) Like the apostle Paul, I need to know you. I want to be still and breathe in your presence. I want to be still and hear your voice. I want to be still and hear your heartbeat. Father, I am not satisfied with business-as-usual church. I want to dwell in your presence. I want to drink from your river. I want to meditate on your Word. I want to bask, soak, and marinate in your love. I want to wait on you, experience you and know you. Father, I'm spiritually hungry and I'm pressing in for more of you. Fill me lord!
Your word says you love me as much as you love Jesus.
I want to comprehend the width and length and depth and height of your abundant love. Show me your face Lord. Show me your glory Lord!
Father, in the name of Jesus, blast me with all you've got!
