NEW YEAR'S 2017
How fast this past year has gone by, but I think it is going to be a good year for you and me. I understand that for Israel, 2017 is the year of Jubilee that occurs every fiftieth year. It is a time of rest, joy, and forgiveness for this land and God's people – that means you and me. We have a new president who means business and who can get the job done. I'm sure the Lord is ready to help him "drain the swamp". I hope this year is a year where God will answer our dreams, desires, and hopes, and especially those things we dare not even think about as they have not yet come to pass. For me, that is everything. Maybe for you too. Let's believe that 2017 will be our year at last. I know you, I love you, I understand you. May your broken heart be healed this year.

The Second Heaven
David Bruce offers us new and intriguing insight into spiritual warfare with his great series on the Second Heaven. This could and should be turned into a series of church plays and Christian movies. Dave takes us directly into the kingdom of darkness – into the mind and strategy of satan. This is high drama!
Note: Don't be confused about the subject of the second heaven. Paul talks about a visit to the third heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2). That means there must, of necessity, be a second heaven and a first heaven. This is how I see it.
1.The first heaven is the dominion of man here on earth.
2.The second heaven is the seat of satan (Ephesians 2:1-2) and (Ephesians 6:12).
3.The third heaven is the throne of God

I used to love to talk about myself, especially when I was younger, and might add full of myself. But now I am old, 76, and what they say about old people is that the older we get the more honest we become. I don't know who said that, but it sounds good. Talking about good, some of my stories you will think are good, others you might hate, but that seems to be the way it is in the Body of Christ, the Church. My ministry has been to children. I got saved in 1973, you do the math. Enjoy.

AMERICA, AMERICA, HOW I HAVE LOVED YOU!!
New Year's Eve – 12:10 a.m., 2016
I did not see any glory given to the Lord, so I think this is His reply to America on New Year's Eve, 2016.
1492 was the year my servant Columbus saw in my word, the Bible, that the world was round. So he set sail to find a new land. His first act, along with his crew, was to get down on their knees and dedicate this new land, called America, to me and my son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
This greatly upset the powers of darkness, led by satan, the leader of all those who would rebel against me. Now I had the legal right to form this new land, flowing with milk and honey, in my image. Notice the number of letters in the year 1492. They equal 16, which in my word is the number of love. Now I would shed my great love and blessings on America. My leaders prayed to me asking for my guidance and my way. The Civil War was fought to free my African people. This greatly pleased me. Then came the World Wars, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and now the war in the long war in the Middle East. All the time America came to the aid of others. She set the camptives free at a great cost. But then something happened. Her leaders stopped praying to me and spit in my face. As I look down from my throne, I can see my chief angel over America with a cup almost filled with her sins. I am grateful he is moving slowly. Will that cup become full in 2016. The numbers in 2016 add up to 9. Will it be the 9 gifts of my Holy Spirit or 9 Judgements? You see, your leaders have become wise in their own eyes. America has become prideful. You like to talk about the old days – the founding fathers and the Constitution. Over and over again, the Constitution, but never my Word, the Bible. Tears are starting to well up in my eyes as I see my angel getting closer to my throne. But you say, "why is God mad at us?" Aren't other nations worse than us. Yes, but I gave you so much more and the one I give more to I expect more from. You have failed to give it.
Now America, let us review the last year, 2015. Your sins in 2015 are all worthy of death. In fact, I destroyed Sodom and Gommoreh for less. What are these sins?
1.My church is spoiled. My church has said in their hearts, we are the Lord's queen and
He is our King. No harm will ever come to us. My church, you are foolish and need to
repent. You have turned your back on my Holy people, my nation Israel, with your Iran
deal, putting my people in great danger.
2.Your Supreme Court in their Godless wisdom has made gay marriage the law of the land.
3.You have murdered 60 million of my little ones. Not only that, but you are now selling their
body parts to the highest bidder. This is your condition before me.
4.Your Congress and Senate are Godless.
5.Your White House is Godless.
6.Your TV and movies are Godless.
I, the Lord God, do not use water to destroy evil nations. I use fire as I did in WWII. Will the fire be next for you, America? I have evil people on my leash who hate you America. People like Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and ISIS.
Repent and cry out America, repent and cry out America, before it's too late.

HALLOWEEN 2016
"Not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doth the will of My Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me ye that work inequity."
(Matthew 7:21-23)
I don't know about you but this scripture scares me. The word many means a multitude – a large group of people. Where did they go wrong?
I don't think it is wise to tell God how much we have done for Him. It is more about what He has done for us – all of us, always. They said Lord, Lord. They believed they should be in Heaven because of their works. The question then becomes, what was their great sin?
From the book, The Pursuit of God, by A. W. Tozar, "It is not what man does that makes his work holy or not. It is what his motivation is in doing it? In the Christian life, motive is everything."(Page 127) "God's gifts can take the place of God in our lives." (Page 22)
Is this what happened to the group that said, "Lord, Lord?" Remember, anything we possess can also possess us. Did the Matthew 7 group fall into the trap of money, money, money? Are there some TV preachers in this group?
Matthew 25:1 – "The Wise and Foolish Virgins" by Al Houghton at wordatwork.org.
1.The foolish had no leadership of the Holy Spirit.
2.The wise were led by the Holy Spirit. They did not do their own thing but waited on God.
3.The foolish were not diligent. The wise were.
4.Only our relationship with God can bring us the oil we need.
5.The foolish gave only 50% of their lives to Jesus.
6.The wise gave all of their lives to Jesus.
7.The foolish wanted to talk about all they had done for Jesus.
8.The wise only talked about what Jesus had done for them.
9.The foolish wanted to rule by law.
10.The wise wanted to minister by grace only.
11.The foolish wanted to market their gifts like the moneychangers.
12.The wise understood that freely they had received, so freely give.
13.The foolish wanted praise from men.
14.The wise wanted praise from God.
15.The foolish were full of pride.
16.The wise had learned to be humble.
17.For the foolish, anytime was the right time.
18.The wise waited for God's timing, no matter how long it was going to take.
19.The foolish called themselves into ministry.
20.The wise were called by God into ministry.
21.The foolish wanted their work seen by men.
22.The wise tried to hide what they were doing for God, so as to be seen by God alone.
23.The foolish love God for what they could get from God.
24.The wise love God for who He is.
25.The foolish trusted in something other than the cross, such as the Virgin Mary, or one of the Saints for their salvation.
26.The foolish trusted in their own goodness or church membership.
27.The oil represents the Holy Spirit and God's free grace, but the Rapture had taken place and now it was too late for them.

Growing up in beautiful San Diego, I had great passion for baseball. I started playing in 1947 at the age of 7. My stepfather was working for Solar Aircraft Company. Solar, along with Ryan Aircraft formed the first little league team in San Diego. My Stepfather was one of the coaches. This was in 1949. Before the baseball time, my father had enrolled me in a Judo class along with him and I was the first boy to win a purple belt. Another boy and I got to go with the adults and give performances all over the city. It was fun, but I gave it up in favor of baseball. I went on to play center field for Mission Bay High from 1956 to 1958. I never really thought of myself as that good of a player. There were always others that appeared better than me.
We had a great role model and coach in Ernie Beck. I always wanted to win one of those trophies. You know, "Best Player" or "Most Improved Player" etc., but I never did. The real reason I wanted to win was my best friend, who was a track star at Mission Bay, had lots of trophies. I wanted to impress him. It took fifty years.
But I got something better from my coach, who is in his mid 80's now and still with us. I got a phone call from one of the other former players telling me that coach's wife had just passed away. They had been married for 58 years. So I called Coach Beck to express my regrets at his great loss. You see, Mrs. Beck looked like a movie star and she was always at the games, seated on the first base side.
I said, "Coach, I'm sorry for your great great loss. I was always praying hard for you and for your wife". There was a pause on the other end of the phone and then my coach said this: "Dave, you were the best center fielder I ever coached". And he had coached for 30 years.
You can keep all the trophies and all the academy awards, all the gold medals and all the Superbowl rings. Having this great man say this to me meant more to me than anything else. Was this God speaking to me? Yes it was! You see it came at a time when everything in my life was going wrong. I was broke and bankrupt. My family was down on me, and of course the pressures of life and no answers.
God was saying, "you are not as bad as those around you are telling you. You are number one with me and always will be. You are my center fielder and instead of baseballs, now you can catch my little ones before they fall."
Thank you Lord Jesus!

VOTING – A SOLEMN OBLIGATION
When we vote for ungodly men, their sins become our sins.
When we vote, we are not putting our faith in man, we are putting our faith in God to work through the men we choose.
Let's look at three problem areas for the church.
1. The sin of ignorance.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)
Our Christian faith is under attack. We need to know who is for us and who is
against us. We need to know what is going on in our nation. None of us are too
holy to join the human race.
2. The sin of not voting.
"...render unto Caesar the things that belong to Caesar..." (Matthew 22:21)
Politics can sometimes be a dirty business, but none of us are too good or too
pure to vote. Voting itself is not a dirty business. In fact, voting is an honorable
thing, because only free people can cast a REAL vote.
3. The sin of voting for the ungodly.
"Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven,
but He who does the will of my Father in Heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
To vote for someone who is ungodly is to invite all the demonic spirits that control
them onto us and our children.
VOTING AND REAPING
Just as sewing and reaping is a law of life, voting and reaping is also a fact of life. Why do nations fall? Why do empires fall? When a nation becomes full of evil, it loses the ability to defend itself.
Voting: It is more than politics, it is survival.
